Fabric Joint type ATL
![](images/FABFLEX-COMPOSTION.jpg)
Fabric Joint absorb thermal movement (expansion), vibrations and misalignments of the piping. The reaction forces of these joints are very reduced, thereby reducing the efforts and stresses on the pipes and on the structures.
The joints type ATL working in the temperature range from -20 ° C to 550 ° C for use in low and high pressure.
All couplings are made in sizes and lengths according to specifications required and on the basis of movements to be absorbed.
The typical composition of a joint ATL is characterized by:
-Layer for contact of the fluid with a glass fiber of different thickness and weight as a function of temperature
-one or more layers of ceramic fiber for the abatement of the heat (thickness and density as a function of temperature)
-One PTFE coating for protection against chemical agents (typically condensate)
-One outer layer of weather-resistant closure and exposures of solar radiation.
-External fiber glass for the closure of the layers and for the parts in contact with the metal flanges closing.
(The composition is indicative and may change according to the different operating conditions)
