Rubber Expansion joint type A & B

The rubber expansion joints RUBBERFLEX are used successfully for more than 20 years in pipelines carrying fluids under pressure and at various temperatures. The rubber joints are also widely used as vibration dampers to isolate the equipment (pumps, etc..) from the pipes; the installation of a coupling RUBBERFLEX allows:

reduce stress axial, lateral and angular due to thermal expansion of the piping.
dampen mechanical vibrations generated by machines stop the propagation of noise.

The range of production and supply of the joints RUBBERFLEX is among the most comprehensive and allows you to meet any need, including replacement with rubber joints from other manufacturers.

Diameter range normally available in stock:

from DN 32 to DN 750 for model A and
from dn 32 to DN 300 for model B (fixed length 130 mm).

All others standard or special size are available on request.

For bigger size up to 3000 mm use JM1 and JMX

A-EM (EPDM)

Elastomer EPDM type

Operating temperature: +110° C/ -10

Nominal pressure: 16 bar @ 20° C

Application: steam, hot and cold water, potable water, compressed air, without traces of lubricating oils, vegetable oils, ozone, alcohols, ketones

B-NBR (Nitril)

Elastomer type NBR (Nitril)

Operating temperature: -10/+105°C

Nominal pressure: 16 bar @ 20° C

Application: steam, hot and cold water, potable water, compressed air, without traces of lubricating oils, vegetable oils, ozone, alcohols, ketones

B-HP (Hypalon)

Hypalon type elastomer

Operating temperature: -10/+105° C

Nominal pressure: 16 bar@20°C

Use: strong acids and bases, freon, hydroxides, ozone, alcohols, and alkaline solutions of hypochlorite, aliphatic hydrocarbons.

B-VT (Viton)

Type Viton elastomer

Range temperature temperature: -10/+180°C

Nominal pressure: 16 bar@20°C

Application: all the aliphatic, aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons. Many acids, animal and vegetable oils.

Flanges type

Rubberflex expansion joint are normally supplied with swivel flanges drilled according to UNI PN 10 and PN 16. Upon request we can provide flanges drilled according to others such as Standard ANSI, AWWA, DIN, JS etc etc.

Materials: Standard carbon steel with galvanized finish; request of other materials such as stainless steel. (AISI304/316/316L).
