Expansion joints WPP for PVC pipes - Polyethylene

Plastic tubes for aqueducts, gas pipes, sewers and other similar uses find a wide array of installations. Plastic tubes have a very high thermal expansion coefficient compared to ordinary steel tubes.
In long straight lines, the problem of thermal expansion of the tube is posed, which in many cases can reach high values.
Take for example a straight pipe of about 40 meters long. Considering a thermal delta of about 30 ° C between installation and operation, the pipeline will have a total axial dilatation of about 240 mm. The same steel pipe would have a total dilatation of about 10 mm.
For this reason, we have various types of expansion joints made of both PVC and metal, which cover all installation requirements, both with plastic and steel lines.
